Backyard blueprints allows you to plan out your landscape using a simple drag and drop interface, with a high degree of customization. Users can use any of the preloaded types of garden objects (vegetables, trees, buildings, etc), or create and customize their own. A good use case would be figuring out how many apple trees and blueberry bushes can go in a given area, given that you can expect each tree to be about 25 ft wide at maturity and each berry bush to be 6 ft wide.
Blueprints can also be exported to your photo album at any stage of the design process.
Three sample blueprints at three different scales (home lot, forest and vegetable bed) are provided as demonstrations, as well as tutorial sections for each screen.
